New Camera
YAY! I got a new camera! I'm hoping this will end my love/hate relationship with blogging due to the fact that I always hate the pictures I take. Maybe having a nice camera will somehow magically improve my picture taking abilities? Anyway...I'm having major technical difficulties getting the software installed on this ancient laptop, so until then I have no recent pictures. Maybe the birthday fairy will come early and deliver me a shiny new laptop!
Could it be Spring?
Last week we had some nice days in Chicago, so I thought we'd take advantage of the almost near 70 degree weather and spend the day in the park.

3 Months Old
On February 27th, Max turned 3 months!
Here are a few things Max has discovered this month.
-He LOVES his hands. He likes to suck on his hands and fingers all day. I have tried giving him pacifiers but he prefers his hands.
-He loves to talk and babble. In the morning and during changes we often have lengthy conversations about what's going on that day.
-He is a great smiler. From ear to ear.
-He now laughs. The best sound in the world.
-Being read to is one of his favorite daily activities. Moo Baa LaLaLa is his favorite (Thanks Steph)!
-He is getting very close to rolling over.
-He now likes to grab toys and bat at things. Stuffed animals are his favorite!
-He is still in 0-3 month clothes, but getting close to out growing them.
-Wearing size 2 diapers.
-He has started to sleep between 6-8 hours at night!
Overall he is becoming his own little person. He definitely has a distinct personality. He knows what he wants, he tells you what he wants, but he is the sweetest, most lovable little guy around and I just love him to pieces. It's a fair statement that we both can't get enough of each other!

Bye bye bassinet

About a month before Max was born I bought this beautiful bassinet, and even put it together myself, thinking my new little bundle of joy would be spending many nights in it sleeping soundly next to my bed...no. Max slept in this bassinet for maybe 2 weeks before he made the big jump to his crib. I think he liked having lots of room. Anyway...I never took the bassinet down. I think I was hoping that maybe he would change his mind and want to sleep next to his mommy. Well I faced reality a few weeks ago and finally took the bassinet down and put into storage. Until the next one...

Slacker
I'm still a month behind in my posts, but I'm trying to get caught up! You'd think I had an ugly kid and was trying to hide him from the world or something! Hopefully by the end of this week I'm caught up with all the cute pictures of Max!
I love to bable...
A few months ago Max discovered how he can make different sounds and try to talk. Every morning Max and I have conversations about his dreams and whatever else. Excuse the annoying baby talk on my end, but I love listening to him.
